The first video presented below is derived from the book launch for the first volume of Alan Twigg’s biography of Rudolf Vrba, Holocaust Hero, that was published in the United States and Canada on September 12, 2025; then published in Great Britain on October 15, 2025. After extensive research in the Vrba archives, with the permission of his widow, Robin Vrba, the presentation contains many never-seen-before photos and is roughly 40 minutes in duration. The author mainly provides information about Rudolf Vrba that has previously been unknown.

In the following video, Alan Twigg discusses the origins of his anthology that examines 163 books by 86 British Columbian authors pertaining to the Holocaust. As a patchwork quilt of memory and history, Out of Hiding received the George Ryga Award for Social Awareness and contains an Afterword by Yosef Wosk, ‘Questions and Answers from the Depths.’

Yosef Wosk provides the first rabbinical clerical blessing at the grave of Rudolf Vrba since his burial on the outskirts of Vancouver in 2006. Included are comments from Vrba’s friend and colleague, Robert Krell, a child survivor and arguably Canada’s foremost Holocaust educator. The current consensus of historians, as recorded by Wikipedia, is that the Vrba-Wetzler Report saved the lives 200,000 Jews, rather than 100,000 as noted when this sequence was made.

In the fourth video, Rabbi Yosef Wosk of Vancouver explains the significance of a number of sacred items that he brought with him for the aforementioned blessing.
